Runaways #1 (2003) – Writer Brian K. Vaughn and artist Adrian Alphona debut the Runaways. The Runaways first appearance. Here we have the ultimate speculative comic. A total of 18 characters that first appear in this book, including the group Pride. A collectors book since it came out in 2003.

Runaways #2 (2003) – First appearance of Old Lace.

Runaways #7 (2003) – The first appearance of Topher.

Runaways #11 (2004) – Another rumor going around has Cloak & Dagger also appearing on their own show on Netflix. Cloak & Dagger make an appearance here. Takeshi Miyazawa pencils this two part story and a great cover from Josh Middleton.

Runaways #18 (2004) – The first time Marvel characters appear with the Runaways. This issue has Captain America introducing his crew. The Avengers. Issue 18 also happens to be the end of the Runaways first run.

Runaways #1 (2005) – The new launch starts up a few months later. Same creative team as the first series. First appearances of Excavator, Heroine, and Victor Mancha. Plus appearances by a bunch of third rate characters that includes a team named Excelsior. No really.

Runaways #3 (2005) – First appearance of Marianella Mancha. Ultron appears.

Runaways #7 (2005) – The first appearance of Xavin.

Secret Invasion: Runaways/Young Avengers #1 (2008) – Here is a 3 issue limited series from Christopher Yost (writer) and Takeshi Miyazawa (artist). The first issue has the first appearances of Chrell and X’iv.

What If? Fallen Son #1 (2009) – Shortly after the three issue mini came a what if? story. What if The Runaways became the Young Avengers? Written by C.B. Cebulski. This story is part 1 of a 5 part story line that ran through five different What If? Comics.

Iron Man Legacy #7 (2010) – Runaways teammate Alex Wilder appears in four issues of this series. Written by the awesome Fred Van Lante.

Avengers Arena #4 (2013) – Runaways teammate Chase Stein becomes the second Darkhawk.
