Wizard World Launches New Jersey Comic Convention

Gareb Shamus has announced a new Wizard World Comic Con, this time in New Jersey in October.

The convention will be held at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, NJ. It is scheduled for October 15-17, one week after the New York Comic Con, which we learned late last year will be merged with the Anime Fest, and Wizard’s own Big Apple Comic Con, which competes directly with the NYCC. Here is what Gareb Shamus, CEO of Wizard, had to say on the matter:

“Much of my family lives or has lived in the Garden State. All my hometown friends there were bugging me to do this for them and their kids. Launching this event is exciting because it gives our fans in New Jersey a show to call their own.”
