This week’s best new comic covers are here to mock our wallets, tempt our walls, and remind us why storage space is always a problem for collectors. Leading the charge is All-New Spider-Gwen Ghost-Spider #1 by Jeehyung Lee, a cover that proves casual can still look like a fashion ad. Gwen’s effortless “I just saved the city and didn’t break a sweat” pose pairs perfectly with Lee’s sharp detail and realistic rendering. The puffy jacket, the perfect hair flip—yes, it’s a superhero book, but this one could just as easily be a high-end streetwear spread. Collectors will be eyeing this for both the art and the first-issue buzz.
All-New Spider-Gwen Ghost-Spider #1 by Jeehyung Lee gives us Gwen looking like she just stepped off a high-end magazine shoot in between web-slinging. The crisp white puffer jacket against her sleek black-and-pink suit makes the color pop, while her relaxed hand-through-hair pose adds a casual confidence that’s hard to ignore. Lee’s realistic detailing in her face and fabric textures elevates this beyond a typical superhero pin-up—it’s equal parts style statement and character snapshot, a piece that collectors will appreciate for both its artistry and attitude.
Sliding in with cinematic swagger, Batman Superman World’s Finest #42 by Adrian Gutierrez gathers an all-star lineup—Catwoman, Robin, Batman, Superman, Jimmy Olsen, and Lois Lane—marching toward us like they just came from a Justice League team-building retreat. The mirrored shadow lineup beneath them is a clever visual nod to their icons and legacies. It’s the type of cover that looks deceptively simple, but Gutierrez loads it with layered storytelling that screams to be bagged and boarded.
Then there’s the chaos incarnate of Bring on the Bad Guys Dormammu #1 by Corin Howell, with Sister Sorrow front and center, ready to ruin your day and probably your soul. Her scream, the tears of black ink, and the clawed hands reaching for you feel like a direct challenge to open the book… if you dare. Howell’s lines and color contrast make it impossible to look away. This is a villain cover that’s going to sit in the longbox and stare at you every time you flip past it.
Catwoman #78 by Dan Panosian brings the “too cool to care” energy to the streets. Selina leans on her bike, the crimson sky behind her, radiating that mix of elegance and danger. It’s kinetic, chaotic, and still manages to hold her icy composure in the middle of the madness. The deep reds and layered shadows bring the heat, making this another Catwoman cover that collectors will be gunning for.
