DC Announces Batwoman Ongoing

J.H. Williams III is announced as writer / artist on the hotly-anticipated book.

DC has just announced the debut of the much-anticipated Batwoman ongoing book. While it had been feared that Greg Rucka’s departure from the publisher had put the kibosh on the project, fan-favourite artist J.H. Williams III has been named as both writer and illustrator, to be joined by co-writer W. Haden Blackman who is best known for his work on the Star Wars: Galazies MMO and the Force Unleashed video game. Also joining the team will be Amy Reeder Hadley, acclaimed penciller of Vertigo’s Madame Xanadu series, who will illustrate the book’s second arc.

No release date for the book has been announced as yet, and it is unclear what Hadley’s involvement means for the future of Madame Xanadu.
