Comic Artist Ernie Chan 1940 – 2012
The InvestComics family has learned of the passing of yet another legend within the comic book industry. Artist Ernie Chan (Ernie Chua) has passed away at the age of 71. Some of Ernie’s work included Conan, Batman, Thor, Red Sonja, Wonder Woman, Swamp thing, Daredevil, Vampirella and countless others.
Ernie stared his comic career in his native land of the Philippines. He moved to America in 1970 when he was 30 and became a U.S. citizen in 1976.
