Avengers comic fans get spoiled for 16 straight weeks….a new release every week for four months?? Yes, that’s what Marvel is promising, as the “No Surrender” story line begins this week in Avengers #675. So Marvel will deliver an Avengers comic on a weekly basis for 16 week’s without delay? Accomplishing the consecutive streak alone will be a feat, either way, let’s roll here and get on board with this.
The X-Men Gold Annual #1 will be packed with new and old. The homage cover from Alan Davis is from a cover he himself did 30 years ago for the Excalibur #1 issue. Alan Davis still has it. Creators on the X-Men Gold comic; Marc Guggenheim, Leah Williams and Alitha Martinez.
A super-story involving Spider-Man and Deadpool will take place in July. Why mention something that is 5 months away you ask? Well, Spider-Man/Deadpool #26 this Wednesday is a prelude to that July event. No really. Crazy right? Great monthly comic, but why tease something that far out? Weird.
Speaking of Deadpool, The Despicable Deadpool #292 is part one of “Bucket List”.
The Venom Inc. story line is firing on all cylinders. Part five this week; Venom #160.

Buy/Bid – Wonder Woman #38
Wonder Woman #15 (1988)

“Swan’s Song” part one; Wonder Woman #38 this Wednesday. Did you know that in 1988 “Swan Song” story appeared in Wonder Woman #15 (1988). Written by George Perez and (late) Len Wein, pencils by George Perez and cover art from George Perez. That’s gold. What does this have to do with this week’s Wonder Woman release?…..Absolutely nothing other than the title of the story, but the Perez and Wein is always, always a win no matter what.
Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti end their historic run on the Harley Quinn title. Harley Quinn #34 will be their final issue. What a ride it has been. They’ve single handedly have brought Harley to a new level within the DC lure. Amazing what they have done.
Justice League Of America #22 brings Queen of Fables back into the DC Universe mix. The Queen first appeared in JLA #47 (2000). This character has about 15 total appearances under her belt. That’s not too many in an eighteen-year span. Right?
Suicide Squad #33 introduces a new character named Juan in “The Chosen Juan” part one.

Buy/Bid – Harley Quinn #34
Buy/Bid – Justice League #22
Buy/Bid – JLA #47 (2000)
Buy/Bid – Venom #160

InvestComics Indie Hot Picks; Indie comics do not always show up on Ebay right way. Please check back on a regular basis, some of the smaller print indie books usually list after new comic book release day or a few days after.

If you are a regular around these here parts, you’ll know that InvestComics supports many independent publishers. One of publishers that consistently makes the Hot Picks list; Scout Comics. InvestComics, time and time again have implored comic readers/collectors to check this company out when they release a new comic. You’ll get hooked and buy more from them. As we have said on a regular basis too about Scout Comics, their debut comics sell out rather quick. Case in point once again this week with Stabbity Bunny #1. Creators Richard Rivera and Dwayne Biddix. Psst…….want to enter for a chance to WIN a signed copy from writer Richard Rivera? Go HERE, then come back, we’ll wait.
Another publisher we praise all the time because of their source material is Valiant Entertainment. They deliver week in and week out, month in and month out. If you are a comic book reader and have not put a valiant comic on your pull list yet, you are seriously missing out. This Wednesday you’ll have a chance to jump on board with another fantastic Valiant book; Ninjak vs. The Valiant Universe #1. Yes, this is in direct reference to Marvel’s Punisher vs The Marvel Universe, but Valiant Entertainment style. You really should check this comic out and the rest of Valiant’s catalog. creators on this book are Eliot Rahal and Joe Bennett.
And sticking with Valiant, writer Jody Houser has been a huge force within their creative team. Jody is the writer/creator of the Faith character. She will be writing a new Star Wars story for IDW Publishing; Star Wars Adventures Forces Of Destiny Rey #1. A new Star Wars story is enough for anyone to get excited, but to have writer Jody Houser a part of it…? Yes, we eagerly await this one even more.
BSG vs. BSG #1 (Dynamite Entertainment). It’s Battle Star Galactica vs. Battle Star Galactica. Written by Peter David?! Art by Jonny Desjardins.
Atlas & Axis #1 (Titan Comics); Creator Pau.
