Lil Wayne Launches Prison Website
Lil Wayne launches a website for his fans, while he is behind bars.

Rapper Lil Wayne may be in the slammer, but that’s not stopping him from being in touch with his fans. Today, along with his Young Money team, Wayne launched a website called Weezy Thanx You . The purpose of the site is for him to answer questions from fans and give updates on his stint in jail. Lil Wayne had the following to say:
“During my prison stint, I want my fans to know I love you, I want all of you to know that I appreciate all
the mail I get, and this is my way of saying thank you.”
The site features a countdown clock to the day that he is released his one year prison sentence after pleading guilty on weapons charges. Lil Wayne will still blog for ESPN and he promised to update the site once a week.
