If there was a spot here for the comic that’ll trend the most this week, Domino #1 would win that spot this week. Why? Well, three reasons. One, she’s a bad as* character. Two, she’s appearing in the new Deadpool movie. Three, she’s a bad as*. Well, maybe two reasons, but hey, get your own website if you want to list more reasons. Big collector dispute for a while as to where Domino first appeared. Was it New Mutants #98? X-Force #1? X-Force #4? X-Force #8? Marvel Age #102? Oh where oh where can art thou be? Well, the grading companies, not the hobbyist, settled the dispute and listed the ‘REAL’, yes, CGC actually lists ‘The REAL….’ On their upper right-hand notes, but that’s another chat some other time. So, the REAL first appearance of Domino is………(drum roll please!)…….X-Force #11 (1992). That long winded explanation was completely unnecessary, but fun nonetheless. Domino #1 brought to you by the writer Gail Simone and artist David Baldeon.

It seems every week now one of Marvel’s original characters is hitting a milestone issue. Considering the fact many of them came out at the same time and the original numbering coming back, so yea, makes some sense. This week Marvel celebrates Captain America #700. That’s some serious numbering. And of course, many variants to choose from here, but it looks as though Marvel wants to ‘crown’ Captain America with a new name. ‘KING’ Captain America. No seriously, no joke. April fools is long gone.
Is Star Wars Thrawn #3 the intro of Arihnda Pryce in comics?
