Mickey Rourke signs on to the Conan movie, and we have writing and production news as well.

Mickey Rourke has been confirmed to play Conan’s father in the upcoming movie starring Jason Momoa as the dark haired, sinewy Barbarian. The film begins shooting in Bulgaria on March 15th, but there is also news that writer Sean Hood, who is also working on a Hercules script for the same producers as the Conan movie, has been hired to rewrite the Conan script before filming begins.
