Spider-Gwen Ghost-Spider #3 by Ryan Stegman tosses Wolverine and Deadpool into a buddy-carry that’s more rom-com than action-packed. It’s the Deadpool & Wolverine Weapon X-Traction variant where Logan shows his softer side by rescuing Deadpool. Guess even tough guys need a hug sometimes. Blood Hunt #5 brings us Kael Ngu’s depiction of Dr. Doom wielding power like he’s trying out for a magician’s gig. Sparks fly, capes billow, and somewhere, a hero is probably wishing he’d just stayed home today. Amazing Spider-Man #54, Yasmine Putri delivers a cover that’s a literal race against time. Watch as Peter Parker transforms into Spider-Man while sprinting up the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s Parkour meets quick-change artistry, and it’s as epic as it sounds. And of course, we can’t forget Fantastic Four #22, where Steve McNiven pays homage to a classic scene with the Deadpool Wolverine Weapon X-Traction cover. With the new Deadpool-Wolverine movie hype, this cover isn’t just a throwback, it’s a throwback with strategy. Because when in doubt, piggyback off Hollywood for some extra eyeballs.

If you’re looking for covers that go above and beyond to snag your attention (and maybe even your wallet), these are the contenders. Dive in, have fun, and maybe, just maybe, get a little nostalgic.
