AMC’s Walking Dead has a Rick

The TV version of Robert Kirkman’s zombie opus has it’s lead actor: Andrew Lincoln

AMC’s adaption of The Walking Dead continues apace, as the central character of Rick Grimes has now been cast, it’s British actor Andrew Lincoln.

Lincoln is well known in the UK for roles in the hit shows This Life and Teachers. Americans will probably know him best for being one the hundreds of actors in Love Actually (he was the dude who held those signs on Keira Knightley’s doorstep). He’s pretty good, but can he do an American accent?

Head over to CBR for some more information, including what series creator Robert Kirkman thinks of Andrew Lincoln.
