Anvil to Rock Green Hornet Movie

The aged Canadian Heavy Metal legends will be making a cameo in the upcoming Green Hornet flick.

Since releasing a documentary last year about their lack of success over a thirty year career, the heavy metal band Anvil, best known for their sort-of hit Metal on Metal, have been making something of a comeback, playing recently at Giants Stadium and opening for AC/DC.

Now it appears as though the band will be branching out into high-budget action flicks as well, making a cameo in the upcoming Green Hornet movie. Apparently, the band’s role involves "exploding on stage." Whether this refers to exploding in the traditional sense, or as a metaphor for the release of kick-ass metal energy, has yet to be determined.

In any case, readers should be reminded that Nicholas Cage is no longer going to be in this movie, so it may be worth seeing. Stay tuned!
