Batman Dominates NY Times Bestseller Lists

With the release of the Batman: Arkham Asylum video game this week, Batman hardcovers and trade paperbacks have been filling up the New York Times Bestseller lists in their respective categories.

Neil Gaiman’s Batman: Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader took the number one spot on the hardcover list, with Batman: The Killing Joke and Batman RIP taking the third and fourth place on that list respectively. In paperbacks, Jeph Loeb’s Hush and Grant Morrison’s Arkhum Asylum took the number 8 and 10 spots. Not bad for 3 out of 5 books that are nowehere near new releases.

Final Crisis from DC took the number 2 spot for hardcovers, while Fables volume 12, Watchmen, and The Walking Dead volume 10 took the top three on paperbacks.
