Bendis and Coipel under Siege in January.

The House of M team re-united for the 4-issue end to Dark Reign in January 2010, and Bendis promises a ‘seismic shift’ in the Avengers books.

G4’s Blair Butler interviewed Brian Bendis this week on Fresh Ink, and in the video BMB reveals that he and Olivier Coipel are doing the 4-issue mini-series Siege in January, following on from that Cabal book in December.

Bendis states that the mini would not only be the ending of the Dark Reign storyline, but also promises a ‘seismic shift’ in the Avengers titles, that will be just as big as Disassembled. He’s hinting that it’s going to unite characters that haven’t been on the same page for a long time (Iron Man, Captain America and Thor), so it looks like the classic Avengers could be returning!

I am excited for this, Bendis and Coipel made a great team in House Of M, and since it’s only 4 issues, this will be quick and fun.

Bendis also discusses a ton of other stuff, like the Spider-Woman motion comic, the Powers relaunch, and also his work on the Marvel movies.
