Power Girl #14 by Yanick Paquette takes a lighter, more playful approach with Power Girl flying up from a Superman logo, flashing a smile that says she’s having the time of her life. It’s the kind of cover that fanboys will appreciate, especially since her assets are front and center. Paquette keeps it fun, but still true to Power Girl’s unapologetically bold style.
Absolute Wonder Woman #1 cover by Dan Panosian shows Wonder Woman ready to pull her sword out, and it’s clear from her face that she’s not about to give anyone a second chance. The close-up intensity radiates “don’t mess with me” energy, and frankly, you’d be smart to take that advice. Powerful, unrelenting, and poised for action—just the way we like her.
Harley Quinn #44 from David Nakayama brings Harley in all her mischievous, sexy glory. She’s holding a massive gun, and while you might be distracted by the bad little Harleys on her shoulders, it’s the detailed Nakayama style that keeps your attention. Bold, flashy, and as unpredictable as Harley herself, this cover screams “trouble” in the best possible way.
Action Comics #1072 by Clayton Henry gives us Superman in a way we’re not used to seeing—through grains of sand. The falling particles with the iconic “S” visible through the hand? It’s almost like Superman’s slipping away, but, you know, he’s never really gone for long. A cover that’s subtle, yet powerful, it’s sure to catch the eye of anyone who appreciates a bit of visual symbolism.
Power Girl #14 from Simone Di Meo showcases a very confident and muscular Power Girl. Flexing an arm that could probably bench-press a tank, she reminds us that her strength isn’t just about her “assets,” although let’s be real, those are flexing too. It’s a cover that knows exactly what it’s doing, and it’s doing it very well.

DC Horror Presents #1 by Tyler Crook is a nightmare in comic book form. Superman tied up, his face twisted and deformed into something straight out of your darkest horror dreams. Crook manages to make the Man of Steel look disturbingly vulnerable, which is no small feat. This is horror done right, and it’s not for the faint of heart.
Absolute Wonder Woman #1 by Jeff Dekal gives us the fierce Amazon warrior in a darker, more seductive tone. Wonder Woman isn’t just standing around looking pretty—there’s a dangerous vibe here, as if she’s about to strike. Dekal brings out her beauty, but there’s no mistaking the menace lurking beneath that stare. You might want to rethink any plans of getting on her bad side.
Absolute Wonder Woman #1 by Jim Lee is classic Jim Lee: bold, detailed, and with a sword so massive it makes you wonder how she swings it. But that’s the magic of Lee—he can give Wonder Woman a weapon that looks like it could slice through a tank, and it’s still believable. This is Wonder Woman at her most bad ass, ready for war, and looking like a force of nature.
Detective Comics #1090 by Mikel Janin captures Batman in all his moody glory, with shadows draped over his pose like he’s about to deliver a brooding monologue. The green hue? It’s giving off just the right amount of “don’t mess with me” vibes. Not a scene you’d want to stumble into in Gotham, unless you’re into dark, edgy nights with a side of vigilante justice.
