Chris Evans Officially Offered Captain America Role

The Fantastic Four actor is one step closer to becoming Captain America. All he needs to do is accept.

Inside sources are saying that Evans, who played Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four franchise, has been offered the role of Steve Rogers in the upcoming movie The First Avenger: Captain America. Evans would be contracted for this movie, with the assumption that he would also star in The Avengers and any future Cap movies.

Fantastic Four isn’t his only comic book movie credit, either. Evans also has a role in both The Losers and Scott Pilgrim. Marvel has not yet confirmed the offer.
