CM Punk Talks Comics

The straight-edge pro wrestler talks comics with Marvel’s Arune Singh just days before Wrestlemania.

Marvel.com has a great interview up with CM Punk, the WWE Smackdown Superstar. Punk talks about his comic fandom, starting with Larry Hama’s GI Joe at an early age all the way up to his love for writers like Ed Brubaker today.

A short snippet:

Asked about who he’d like to "save" from the Marvel Universe and convert to the Straight Edge lifestyle, Punk had only one answer. "Captain America. Why? Because he’s used the super soldier serum to be a hero and I can’t condone any unnatural substances in the body. He needs to be saved."

Check out the full interview here.

Wrestlemania is available on PPV this Sunday. The Outhouse will be conducting a special wrestling-themed podcast tomorrow night at 8:30 PM EDT to celebrate and speculate on the event. Tune into the forums tomorrow for more details.
