Comic Cover Showdown: Batman, Venom, and More

This week’s InvestComics roundup is here with covers so engaging they might just leap off the shelf (7/24/24) and follow you home. Let’s dive in!

Batman Dark Age #4 by Jorge Fornes shows Batman chilling in the rain on his Bat bike, looking like he’s just another brooding soul waiting for the green light. Maybe Gotham’s traffic is as bad as its crime rate? Venom Separation Anxiety #3 by Alex Maleev. Here we find Venom perched high above, giving off major ‘you can’t sit with us’ vibes. If Venom looks this menacing from a distance, imagine the nightmares up close. Sacrificers #10 brings together Andre Lima Araujo & Dave McCaig to create a cover that’s both beautifully realistic and disturbingly eerie. It’s like looking into a mirror that shows what you truly are on the inside—terrifying, yet fascinating. Detective Comics #1087 from Guillem March features Batman in deep thought, doing his best impression of the world’s greatest detective. Spoiler alert: he actually is. Who knew brooding could be considered a professional skill?
