Avengers Twilight #5 continues its noble tradition of cramming as many first appearances as possible into its pages. We think there is another first appearance coming up this week. Also, A Dark Knight Returns Benjamin Su variant cover accompanies the release, but not to be outdone, Something Epic #9 (Kudranski Cover) also has the same homage cover this week. Which one do you like better? For those of you tracking the whereabouts of Johnny Blaze, Ghost Rider Final Vengeance #2 might just keep you hanging, but hey, meet the Newest Ghost Rider. That’s something, isn’t it? Giant Size Hulk #1 is stomping in with a new character who is, we hope, as giant-sized as the title promises. And just when you thought you’d seen every vehicle in the Marvel Universe, Roxxon Presents Thor #1 introduces the Thor-Truck. Yes, you read that right. A truck. Thor-style. Because sometimes even a god of thunder needs to hit the road. Ultimate Black Panther #3 is upping the ante by introducing the Ultimate Marvel Versions of Storm and Killmonger. Because what’s better than one iconic character? Ultimate versions, obviously!

Weapon X-Men #1 invites you to meet a slew of Wolverines from various timelines. There’s a very good chance we’re going to see a Wolverine we’ve never seen before. For the magic lovers, What If Venom #3 gives us Symbiote Supreme, a Venom/Doctor Strange mash-up that promises to be as chaotic as it sounds. This first appearance, ascetically, looks totally bad ass. If the story meets the eye here, we’re off to the speculation races. Batman Off World #5; (UPDATED: delayed shipping) learn more about the Blakksun twins in this issue. Could this issue be dubbed as their true first FULL appearance? We saw them briefly in Batman Off World #3. Celebrate a milestone with Nightwing #113, the 300th issue ever for Nightwing. Star Wars Mace Windu #3 will debut two new characters, Muro and Diya.

On the indie side, 7174AD #1 by Ashley Wood and Blow Away #1 offer escapes from the mainstream, with fresh narratives that are sure to be as intriguing as their titles. And not to be left behind, Dark Horse Comics brings Dudley Datson #1 into print and a new Star Wars escapade with Star Wars The High Republic Adventures Saber For Hire #1. And finally, but not least, Spider-Woman #6 will have a first appearance.
