Geoff Johns Says No to Future DC/Marvel Crossovers

Johns squashes hopes of a Marvel/DC crossover that many thought might be possible with the recent changes in DC Management.

In an update from Emerald City Comic Con, Rich Johnston over at Bleeding Cool brings us this news. Apparently, Johns is displeased with Marvel’s recent Deadpool variant promotion, which mocked and derided the DC Blackest Night promotion by allowing retailers to send in unsold copies of Blackest Night tie-ins in exchange for rare Deadpool variants. Johns said that DC even considered printing new copies of the covers to the books, which were acceptable in place of the entire books, to mess with Marvel. Lawyers advised against this, but, in any case, there will be no JLA/Avengers 2 in the near future.
