Edge Of Spider-Verse #5 – Marvel will provide three new Spider-Verse characters in the same comic. This is a speculator’s dream right here. There are several covers available that debut the character(s) right on them. Web-Weaver and Hunter-Spider actually have one together. The third new spider is being kept secret for some reason. We’ll assume it’s the “secret cover” that dons the new Spider character. We’ve said from the outset, get your hands on every issue of Spider-Verse, there’s always a good chance at a debut happening. Here are three.
Hulk #9 – New storyline, Hulk Planet begins, AND the first appearance of Monolith. Also, last week we pointed out the Predator vs Thor cover as something to check out. This week it’s Hulk vs Predator. Eventually, at some point, Marvel will implement Predator into their Marvel Universe. Same with Alien. We’ve given you enough time to gather up the first appearance covers with them on them with various Marvel characters. Don’t say we didn’t warn you, that would be lying.
Batman #128 – The new Batman villain, Failsafe, gets their story told here. The origin of Failsafe.
Ant-Man #4 – Are we about to be introduced to a new Ant-Man? Last issue of the series.
Kaya #1 – The first appearance of Kaya and their universe in this new ongoing series from Image Comics. Writer/artist Wesley Craig takes care of the introductions here.

Miracleman #0 – Ever since Marvel snagged the rights to the Miracleman character, they have no idea what to really do with him. Maybe now will be the time they figure stuff out because this “zero” issue (so silly, zero.) will feature none other than legendary writer Neil Gaiman and artist Mark Buckingham.
Joker The Man Who Stopped Laughing #1 – A new Joker story from writer Matthew Rosenberg and artist Francesco Francavilla.
Spider-Man #1 – Writer Dan Slott and artist Mark Bagley kick things off with another number-one Spider-Man comic. Having a number one issue of Spider-Man back in the day would be a big deal, but man have they watered down the “number one issue” prestige. The Humberto Ramos variant cover has just about every different Spider-Verse Spider character you can think of on there. Any new ones in there?
Dark Ride #1 – From Image Comics, welcome to the Devil Land theme park. Our first look ever. Written by Joshua Williamson, drawn by Adriano Lucus and Andrei Bressan.
Garbage Pail Kids Origins #1 – Dynamite Entertainment Comics enlightens us all with an actual origin story about these kids and you should have success. With the fierce popularity nowadays, this comic will not only possibly spawn a new generation, but it’ll also have the diehards buying this stuff up, thus carrying on a new era of Garbage Pail Kids? It’s a distinct possibility. Anything is possible in today’s comic book market. Oh, one more thing. Each issue comes with actual trading card inserts.

3Keys #1 – Writer/artist David Messina introduces us into the world of the 3Keys. From Image Comics.
Sweetie Candy Vigilante #1 – Out of the 15 or so number one issues coming out this week, this special double-size from Dynamite Entertainment will undoubtedly be the most violent. The first appearance of Sweetie Candy Vigilante. A free MP3 download code is provided for the song “Sugar Sugar” by the Osaka Popstar. Which are featured inside this issue. Dynamite Entertainment would like you to play the song while reading the comic. It adds to the madness.
Junkyard Joe #1 – Junkyard was introduced in the series Geiger (Image Comics) not too long ago. Now Joe has his own series. Written by Geoff Johns, art by Gary Frank and Brad Anderson.
Two more A.X.E. number one comics this week; A.X.E. Starfox #1 and A.X.E. X-Men #1.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures #1 – New TMNT series from IDW. Based on the Saturday morning cartoons.
Gotham City Year One #1 – The first origin story of Gotham city. Hard to believe after so many years, this story has never been touched on. Writer Tom King and artist Phil Hester bring us a story that’s 80 years untold.
Sirens Gate #1 – We’ve all marveled over the years at the amazing artwork of cover artist Shannon Maer at least one time during our collecting career. His portrayal in making various female comic characters literally look lifelike is crazy. Crazy in a fantastic way. Shannon has been known for his cover art only and he’s never done any interior work. Not only will he make his interior art debut here but also his writing debut. We get a two-in-one deal here. Dynamite Entertainment giving the fans what they’ve wanted for years and then some.
Earthdivers #1 – The first work from writer Stephen Graham Jones. From IDW Publishing.
Night Of The Ghoul #1 – A new horror story from writer Scott Snyder and artist Francesco Francavilla. A Dark Horse Comics release.
Revolvers #1 – The first appearance of detective Hampton Wales. From Image Comics.
