Hottest NEW Comics This Week 7-16-25.
Giant-Size House of M #1 – Kamala Khan wakes up in a mutant-dominated world twenty years after the original House of M shattered reality. She teams up with Kitty Pryde to navigate this gilded, oppressive society—but of course, Legion is here too, and that never ends well. Saladin Ahmed and Martín Cóccolo add layers to Wolverine’s past in a Revelations backup story. This issue isn’t just a nostalgia trip—it’s a potential setup for the next major X-Men arc. Eyes peeled for new plot threads and hidden cameos that could spark future value.
Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #10 – Welcome to issue #250 of Moon Knight if you count them all up—and Marvel does. Jed MacKay continues his long, strange trip with Marc Spector as Devmalya Pramanik joins in on the oversized celebration. This isn’t just an anniversary cash grab; it sets the tone for the next arc, and you can bet collectors will be watching closely for anything resembling a first or shift in the status quo.
Ghost Pepper #1 – If you like your post-apocalyptic food truck comics with a side of mech suits and a dash of anime flair, this is the indie book to circle. Ludo Lullabi delivers on story and art, introducing Ash, a warrior with mysterious origins—and possibly superhuman powers. The world-building here screams animated series potential. A sleeper candidate for long-term spec.
Robin & Batman: Jason Todd #2 – Tensions between Bruce and Jason continue to bubble, and the arrival of a masked assassin named Wraith might be the spark that pushes Jason toward his eventual Red Hood destiny. DC loves teasing “moments” that matter in the Bat-family timeline, so keep eyes on this issue for any meaningful tipping points.
Predator vs. Spider-Man #4 – The Predator finally closes in on Skinner, but Kraven and Spidey turn this hunt into a three-way war. It’s a bloody street fight under the stars of NYC, and any crossover with this much franchise juice has long-term appeal. Marvel isn’t hiding the stakes either—something big is teased here, and you’ll want to be on board when it explodes.
Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe #1 – A five-part event begins here with Godzilla tearing through everything from NYC to the Dark Dimension. Heroes, villains, and yes—even Vibranium lore—are involved. Don’t be surprised if this crossover ends up a collectible set or spins off some wild new continuity. The King of Monsters doesn’t show up just to play nice.
Midnight Airlines #1 – Vampires, secret societies, and airport check-ins? Mirka Andolfo’s new DSTLRY series is prestige horror with bite. Every issue is 48 pages in DSTLRY’s boutique format. The world of rich, flying bloodsuckers blends Interview with the Vampire, Con Air, and Midnight Mass. Expect some heat on these print runs as DSTLRY builds its catalog.

Hottest NEW Comics This Week 7-16-25.
This Ends Tonight #1
– Jae Lee and Gerry Duggan bring Tarantino-styled chaos to Vegas in this oversized debut issue that kicks off a bloody revenge trilogy. Two sisters, one dark secret, and a cast of killers hot on their trail. You’ve got a variant by Adam Hughes and a sketch edition floating around. Great art, adult tone, and short run = big speculative appeal.

Imperial #2 – Nova and Star-Lord hunt down a galactic killer while the Marvel cosmic universe inches closer to all-out war. Someone is wiping out space royalty, and the mystery has major implications. Cosmic collectors, pay attention—this could be a backdoor to a new empire or a resurrection of a forgotten one.
X-Men: Age of Revelation #0 – This oversized special launches Marvel’s next mutant future arc. A new land ruled by the Heir of Apocalypse (hello!) and the beginnings of rebellion underneath the surface. This sets the tone for a whole line of books and introduces a fresh “future timeline” sandbox. You know how that worked out for Days of Future Past, Age of Apocalypse… yeah.
New Avengers #2 – Evil Illuminati duplicates, a surprise appearance by Clea Strange, and the Hulk being roped in as a wildcard “genius”? This series is already diving into heavy multiversal and magical waters. If Marvel pushes this team as a next-gen anchor squad, these early issues will age very well.

Bring on the Bad Guys: Abomination #1 – This is part three of Marvel’s villain-themed one-shots, and Emil Blonsky is the latest to make a deal with Mephisto. Yes, more Soul Forge lore and potentially more teases to the mystical reshuffling Marvel’s been toying with lately. Watch for hints about future villain alignments and magic-fueled upgrades.
New Champions #7 – A new hero debuts: Nightdrifter. That’s right, another entry into Marvel’s younger generation rolls in, this time through the occult London underground. If Nightdrifter sticks around or breaks out like Ironheart or Ms. Marvel did, this issue becomes a key. Could be minor, could be major—but it’s definitely a first.
Death of the Silver Surfer #2 – Surfer’s cosmic battle continues as humanity pokes the Galactus bear once again. This issue hints at a returning threat from Galactus’ past, and if a new villain or cosmic horror is fully revealed here, expect demand to spike. A tragic solo run often becomes a cult classic—especially when it ties to the Power Cosmic.
Marvel Knights: The World to Come #2 – Secrets in Mexico, a missing T’Challa, and Everett Ross in way over his head. Christopher Priest continues the dense, political drama with breadcrumbs leading to a new Black Panther heir. Legacy characters and new power dynamics? Yep, all the ingredients for a sleeper hit in the making.
