Are you in a rock band? Enter this competition and your band could get to be on the Scott Pilgrim dvd and attend a special event!

Scott Pilgrim is a comic beloved by that most evil of creatures, the hipster. Most of these terrible hipster monsters will be in indie bands. The makers of the movie know their audience, and as such have opened up a battle of the bands:

Sonicbids and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World present Indie Rock vs. the World, a contest where bands will battle for their honor and love of music. The winning band will get a trip to California and the opportunity to perform live at a Scott Pilgrim-themed event this summer, and have their video included as a special feature on the DVD release of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Top 8 finalists will also receive an Mbox® 2 Pro Factory recording package from Avid, valued at $899! Band submission deadline is May 3, 2010.
