Batman Killing Time #1 – A new saga from writer Tom King and artist David Marquez. Quite a few variant covers here to try and capture. The Riddler, Catwoman, and the Penguin all team up for the biggest heist ever. The heist is in Bruce Wayne’s secret possession. Good luck boys and girl!
What if…Miles Morales #1 – The Disney+ What If? television series really created a big buzz/interest with the character crossing over here. The variant covers depict a bad-ass hero in red, white, and blue. With such an outcry from comic fans loving the Miles crossover, Marvel Comics is looking to cash in. Will the new Miles take off into a “thing”? Maybe, but this comic covers the first time we get his story, so maybe picking this up is not a bad idea? Writer Cody Ziglar and artist Paco Medina.
Strange #1 – There is a new Doctor Strange in town, her name is Clea. A first appearance is almost certain in here, so stay vigilant. Writer Jed Macky and artist Marcelo Ferreira start off the new era of Strange.
Spider-Woman #20 – Learn more about the villain Anti-Arachnine. And the Anti-Arach 9?
Devil’s Reign Spider-Man #1 – The return of the villain Rose is making things mighty complicated for Spidey. So complicated, they have their own number one issue to fight it out in. Artist Ze Carlos and writer Anthony Piper.

Here are some of the cool first appearance covers of X-Gwen this week. Who knows if one of these alternate X-Gwen covers will ever produce an ongoing character in the Marvel universe? If only one does, it’ll pop in the aftermarket for reasons that are not explainable anymore. Most everything is or becomes hot and eventually loses its luster.
