Hydra Deadpool on the cover of Deadpool #32. Fanboys may have to just walk past it at their local comic shop and breathe. Deep breaths, deep breaths. What if Deadpool becomes a bad guy too?? Will the revolt begin?? Oh wait, is that Spidey Hydra on the Secret Empire #4 cover? Boy what a hard week for the fanboy. Drink some warm milk, you’ll be alright.
The Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows #8; Mary Jane as Venom. This is for real, not a MJ cosplay cover. More on the MJ cosplay in a minute.
Marvel is calling the villain in Thanos #8 ‘bigger’ than the large Smurf guy himself. Is this an intro to a ‘more powerful’ or a new character altogether? Writer Jeff Lemire and artist German Peralta.

Mary Jane will be back in the spotlight this week. Check out most of her cosplay outfits she dons on some of the Marvel covers within this article. As we said last week, maybe, just maybe one of these silly MJ cosplay becomes a Marvel Universe reality, in which case one of these covers would be her unofficial/official first appearance. Of course we need to point out this is pure speculation and has a slim chance of ever coming to fruition, but we like to give fans/collectors a heads up of the possibility of something like this happening. MJ Deadpool? That’s kinda neat. We really wouldn’t visit this idea if these covers weren’t so darn good. All or most of them will make our Best Covers Of The Week post. We suggest you take a look at that article when it hits for the cover credits.
The big DC summer event starts this week; Dark Days: The Forge #1. DC brings out the big guns here. Snyder, Kubert, Romita, Lee, Williams and Tynion IV.
Two new Looney Tunes specials debut; Legion of Super Heroes – Bugs Bunny Special #1 and Martian Manhunter – Marvin the Martian Special #1.

As we have done here time and time again (and been correct), we inform collectors that the new Aftershock comic coming out will sell out by the time you reach the end of this article. This week it’s Jimmy’s Bastards #1 from the amazing writer Garth Ennis, with art by Russel Braun. About a UK super-spy. A modern day take on some other spy we all know. Will this, can this be a film one day? We like to think so, but the name hampers it a bit from a lot of the political correctness these days. Who knows really? Thing is, this has the potential of movie or television status.
Scout Comics follows up their debut hit comic Mindbender; Mindbender #2. James Pruett writes, Federico De Luca art.

A new series from writer Steve Niles; Winnebago Graveyard #1 (Image Comics).

Kid Sherlock #1 (Action Lab Entertainment) Writer Justin Phillips and art by Sean Miller. Maybe this comic becomes an animated show down the road. A detective dog along with a class bully solve cases. A good writer and artist bring this tale to comic fans.
Flash from DC Comics hits the Indie circuit. From Lion Forge Comics; Catalyst Prime Accell #1 – Writer Joe Casey Art by Damion Scott.
