Marvel Comics still refuses to put the Fantastic Four back together in a comic book due to their little beef with Fox, but with the recent “almost acquisition” of Disney taking over the Fox Studios (characters), things will and could change rather quick. With that, in perfect synchronicity, Marvel joins TWO of the FOUR in Marvel Two-In-One #1 this Wednesday. Torch and Thing star. Writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Jim Cheung. The original 4 getting together again is not that far behind, especially with the new deal so close. As for the Marvel-Two-In-One series. The original series debuted back 1974 starring the Thing in every issue. Much like the Fantastic Four series, the series waned on (early issues) without much fanfare (except the Byrne run). The highlight of the 1974 Marvel-Two-In-One series came in Marvel-Two-In-One Annual #2 (1977). Thanos’ death, Avengers appearance, Spider-Man appearance, Infinity Stone and a Jim Starlin cover.
Loki is still Sorcerer Supreme and Doctor Strange is having all kinds of problems trying to contain him. In Doctor Strange #383, Strange summons for help when he goes to Asgard. Marvel wants to surprise us with the guest star; Loki: Sorcerer Supreme part 3.
Ms. Marvel #25 begins a new story line; Teenage Wasteland part 1. Creators; G. Willow Wilson and Nico Leon.
A new X-Men series; X-Men: Grand Design #1 from creator Ed Piskor.
The secret origin of Jagger Rose in The United States of Murder Inc. Annual #1. Creators; Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming.
Spider-Gwen #27 continues the hot Gwenom story; Gwenom part 3.

Writers Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason, along with artists Doug Mahnke and Jamie Mendoza bring the first two parts of a multi-crossover on new comic book day; “Super Sons Of Tomorrow.” The four-part story will take place in Teen Titans, Super Sons and Superman. With this creative firepower on-board, we’re looking forward to this mini-event, you should too. Superman #37 (part 1) and Super Sons #11 (part 2).
Trinity #16 sees Deadshot making an unexpected appearance. The Phillip Tan Deadshot cover is on point too. As always, the case with a Phillip Tan cover.
Aquaman #31 may introduce some new character(s) at the beginning of a new story arc; “Take Back the Throne” part one or throughout the story. Keep an eye out if you’re looking for new players. Dan Abnett writes, art by Stjepan Sejic.
“Superfriends” part 2 from Tom King and Clay Mann; Batman #37.

Valiant Entertainment explodes out of the gate with their new Quantum & Woody #1 release this Wednesday. A few ultra-rare variants accompany the release, but it’s the super variant cover comic known as “The Most Variant Cover Of All Time” that gets our attention. According to Valiant, this comic will feature chromium, lenticular, embossing, die-cutting, iridescent ink, glow-in-the-dark and more. The cover will be by artist Clayton Henry. Besides the greatest marketing variant cover of all-time, the new Quantum & Woody on-going will be the best indie title to hit this week. It will be a title to follow thereafter. Written by Daniel Kibblesmith and art from Kano.
Mike Mignola and Adam Hughes deliver fans a new Hellboy story; Hellboy Krampusnacht #1. Mignola and Hughes? Oh heck yes, we are so there.
