Fortnite X Marvel Zero War #1 – A couple of years ago, InvestComics gave readers here a heads up regarding the Fortnite entry into the Marvel Universe. Although the Fortnite franchise is an obvious licensed brand, Marvel attempts to team with the outlet to grab the attention of gamers to their brand. We’re not too sure about having any Fortnite characters breaking through into the actual Marvel Universe, but you never know. But in actuality, they exist at the moment, if not in an alternate universe. Who is to say one of these Fortnite characters doesn’t break out in a tremendous way and become a new comic book either in the Marvel U or someplace else? Anything is possible here. Here’s the thing though, If this ever does happen, their first appearance will be within these pages or covers. Back in September of 2020, InvestComics wrote this regarding Fortnite entering into the comic book realm; Marvel will release several variant covers highlighting the Fortnite video game franchise this week. It’s not like they haven’t done these things before, but with today’s modern market, all one needs is for one of these Fortnite characters to break out into their own comic or appear within the Marvel Universe and you’ll possess gold in the modern market. Their first appearance will be right there on the cover. A couple of standouts include, Fantastic Four #24 from cover artist Giuseppe Camuncoli and Savage Avengers #12, Adam Kubert Cover. There are so many covers featuring so many different Fortnite characters this week, it’ll be fun to try and collect all of the first appearance covers. There you have it, you’ve been warned.
Batman #124 – Look for a possible first appearance in this one.
Jane Foster & The Mighty Thor #1 – Have you seen the new Thor trailer? Well, here’s Disney cashing in on their comic book medium. Just basic badass Jane Foster doing her thing with that other guy.
Batman Beyond Neo-Year #3 – The first appearance of a new character named Bean Boonma. Yeah, that’s not a typo.
Multiversity Teen Justice #1 – A new team title book with first appearances happening throughout the series. Stay on top of this series.

Venom #8 – Learn more about the NEW Venom.
The Ward #1 – New from Dark Horse Comics. From the writer of Star Wars: High Republic, Scott Cavan.
Savage Avengers #2 – We cannot recall the last time Anti-Venom and Weapon H ever appeared on a cover together before. Maybe they have, but this could be a first for the pair of once very hot characters. Also, look for possible first appearances here.
Poison Ivy #1 – It’s not too often DC spotlights one of their beloved female villains in their library. One of the highlights throughout this series will be a new cover artist by the name of Jessica Fong. Her first cover is over on our Best Comic Book Covers This Week 6-8-22 page. Check it out. She’s a fierce artist. Looking forward to more from her.
