Iron Man’s Clark Gregg Signed on for Thor
Clark Gregg will reprise his role SHIELD Agent Coulson in the upcoming Thor movie.
SHIELD Agent Coulson, who spent most of Iron Man trying to get an appointment with Tony Stark, will not only be returning for Iron Man 2, where SHIELD director Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson) is supposed to play a bigger role, but also for Thor, which begins filming soon and will be in theaters May 6th, 2011. Obviously, all of this signifies a large role for SHIELD in the upcoming Avengers themed Marvel movies, and also likely a large role for SHIELD in the Avengers movie itself.
Thor stars Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellen Skarsgard and Kat Dennings.
