Let’s kick things off with Batman #183 (1966). This issue doesn’t just have the Caped Crusader loafing around; it’s also the second appearance of Poison Ivy. She may not be front and center here, but hey, this comic’s got that classic Silver Age charm and is a low-key treasure for Batman or Ivy fans. Next up, Fantastic Four #278 (1985), where things get…controversial. You’ve got a mix of some cringe-worthy racial overtones and, believe it or not, a deep dive into Doctor Doom’s origin story. It’s a weird combo that makes this issue both infamous and intriguing for Doom collectors. Shifting to something a bit more modern, Invincible #69 (2009) introduces the first appearance of Universa. While she didn’t exactly become a household name, with Invincible’s cult status, you never know when some of these smaller characters might get a resurgence. Speaking of significant appearances, let’s talk about Suicide Squad #49 (1990), where we get the origin of Oracle. Barbara Gordon’s journey from Batgirl to Oracle is one of the most compelling in the DC universe, and this issue marks a critical point in her transformation. Finally, there’s Superboy #80 (1960), where Superboy and Supergirl meet for the first time. The idea of this powerhouse cousin duo debuting together back in the early days is enough to stir up some serious nostalgia. Super-collectors will appreciate this historic moment.
