Mastadon to Score Jonah Hex Movie
The heavy metal band will be writing and producing the score for the upcoming Jonah Hex movie by Warner Bros.
Ain’t It Cool News reports that Mastadon has already begun working on the score for Jonah Hex, the adaptation of the DC occult western comic book staring Josh Brolin.
Today – and many other days as well – the metal gods known as MASTODON have been not so quietly scoring the film JONAH HEX. When I asked what it was sounding like, the only response was, "Needless to say, pretty heavy!"
The band also did the opening song for the Aqua-Teen Hunger Force Movie. They released their fourth studio album earlier this year, titled Crack the Skye, which debuted at number 11 on the Billboard top 200.
