More Batman from Frank Miller?
We all know that All Star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder was the greatest comic of the new millenium, but Frank Miller is returning to the Caped Crusader for a project with Neal Adams.
Bleeding Cool, the only comic book website you should go to besides this one, reports:
Frank Miller and Neal Adamsâ Batman: The Odyssey, a six-issue
mini-series, with guest inkers such as Scott Williams and Kevin Nowlan.
Two creators who are both working on other projects simultaneously, who
are both craftsmen, working on this oversized comic. It may be a while.
On his website, Neal Adams has this to say about the project:
I have never been able to bring my "A" game to Batman, to my satisfaction. Oh, a little here and there, but all out? Never, never.
On this project? Yep. This is the Batman I believe in.
No, his costume isn’t all plastic, but it is bullet proof. His neck, well, it’s that magic that can only be done in comic books.
So what do I, and of course the incredible Frank Miller bring to Batman after all that’s gone before?
Well it better be something that’s pretty darn hot, Jocko, right?
Here are some images from Neal’s site:
