New Cover Gems Daredevil and Predator
When Marvel decided to drop subtlety and go full chaos, we got Predator Kills The Marvel Universe #3 by Scott Hepburn—a fever dream of muscle, menace, and mayhem. Hepburn doesn’t just draw the Predator; he practically sets him loose on the page. The creature lunges mid-air, roaring through the orange glow of a dying sunset, ready to rip through anything wearing spandex. Hepburn throws subtlety out the nearest window and replaces it with Sabretooth being impaled through the chest by the Predator’s spear. The composition practically burns with tension. You can almost hear the Predator’s guttural roar echoing across the page while Sabretooth, ever the savage, still manages to look angry enough to bite the spear in half before he dies. The molten orange backdrop amplifies the carnage, giving the scene that “end times at sunset” glow that collectors will eat up. Hepburn’s knack for kinetic, gritty energy is all over this piece—his lines buzz with life even when the subject is literally dying. It’s raw, chaotic, and looks like it could double as a metal album cover if you just slap a logo on top.
Scott Hepburn’s artistic style has powered through projects like Deadpool, Spider-Man/Deadpool, and Doctor Strange. His covers often blend wild movement and stylized anatomy with sharp, deliberate messiness—a trademark that makes each piece feel alive, almost shaking on the page. This Predator work might be one of his loudest statements yet.

Then comes The Undead Iron Fist #2 by Geoff Shaw—because apparently, even Marvel’s street-level heroes don’t get to rest in peace. Shaw’s Daredevil isn’t just swinging through the rooftops; he looks possessed, wired on vengeance, and one bad mood away from punching a hole in the skyline. The moody backdrop gives off that classic Marvel noir, with the character caught mid-leap, bringing all the energy of a man who’s forgotten how to land softly. The undead angle gives Shaw’s precise linework an eerie layer—heroic posture, tragic undertone. It’s what happens when superhero mythology meets horror pulp, and collectors are going to love it.
Geoff Shaw, known for his work on God Country, Thanos Wins, and Crossover, brings a cinematic edge to superhero storytelling. His art combines emotional expression with powerhouse composition—each page feels like a still frame from a blockbuster. Here, his Daredevil radiates tension, purpose, and just enough madness to sell the “undead” hook perfectly.
