Teether Parental Guidance #1 by David Hutchison has one of the most unsettling horror covers this season. Hutchison serves up a haunting image of a child with a face full of teeth. Disturbing? Yes. Unforgettable? Absolutely.
Action Comics #1073 by Clayton Henry gives us a striking display of Superman and Mon-El, captured in Henry’s bold colors. Mon-El is coming in hot, fist coming at us, while Superman looms in the background. It’s a classic powerhouse portrayal with Henry’s touch making each character practically jump off the page.
Amazing Spider-Man #60 by Adam Hughes is exactly what you’d expect from Hughes: an enticing Black Cat on a bed with Jackpot lurking in the background, trying to move her aside. Hughes leans all the way into his signature style here, delivering a cover that’s equal parts intrigue and allure.
Night Club 2 #3 by Juanan Ramirez is as intense as it sounds. The lead character holding a bunch of bloody Spider-Man masks with a look that suggests she’s had quite a night. Ramirez gives this cover a raw, edgy feel that’s impossible to ignore. Hey wait, isn’t this a Dark Horse comic?!?
NYX #4 by Sara Pichelli features PRODIGY in action, lifting and controlling a poor soul in mid-air with impressive ease. Pichelli’s detailed artwork makes the scene both powerful and almost ominous, capturing PRODIGY’s abilities in full force.
Amazing Spider-Man #60 by Iban Coello delivers a Doctor Doom variant that stands out. With Spider-Man bruised and battered in the background, Doom’s slow, intimidating approach toward the viewer radiates a confidence that’s unmistakable. Coello’s take on Doom feels fittingly menacing.
Captain America #14 by Dan Panosian continues the Doom theme with a twist: Doom sits nonchalantly, bloodied Captain America shield at his feet, indicating Cap’s clearly been bested. Panosian’s cover oozes tension, letting Doom’s victory speak volumes.

Deadpool Team-Up #3 by Geoff Shaw is the kind of chaotic fun Deadpool fans crave, with Deadpool and Hulk barreling toward us at full speed. Shaw captures the energy of these two in-flight, and the result is a dynamic cover that feels larger than life.
Batman The Long Halloween Last Halloween #2 by J. Scott Campbell is all about contrasts. Batman stands holding a pumpkin, stoic as ever, while a sultry Poison Ivy lounges below. Campbell’s intricate work brings out both the allure and tension between the two characters in a single snapshot.
Deadpool Team-Up #3 by Rob Liefeld is peak Liefeld: Hulk, Wolverine, Deadpool, and even Crystar, all leaping into action with the larger-than-life poses and intense expressions Liefeld is known for. It’s loud, it’s packed, it’s classic Liefeld energy.
Thundercats #9 by David Nakayama lines up the entire Thundercats team, each one displaying that retro power pose that reminds fans why they fell in love with the series in the first place. Nakayama’s vibrant palette brings every character to life in full, nostalgic force.
Wolverine Revenge #3 by Greg Capullo is a brutal encounter frozen in time, with Colossus squeezing Wolverine within an inch of his life. Capullo’s gritty, intense style leaves no detail untouched, making the tension and power of this cover feel incredibly real.
Eye Lie Popeye #1 by Marcus Williams revamps the familiar Popeye crew, giving them a sharper, more imposing “Anime” look than you’ve ever seen. Williams’ cover suggests this isn’t the cartoon you remember but rather a serious, capable trio ready for anything.
