OMIT and Other News from Marvel’s Cup o’ Joe Panel at C2E2

Marvel EIC Joe Quesada talks about One Moment in Time, Marvelman, the Invaders, and more at C2E2.

At C2E2 earlier today, Quesada confirmed what we already knew: that One Moment in Time would attempt to answer all the questions leftover from the controversial One More Day storyline. OMIT will occur in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man and will feature artwork from the original Peter Parker and Mary Jane marriage interspersed with new art by Paolo Rivera.

Quesada addressed rumors about Marvelman, saying that there was no legal trouble holding the book up and that they were simply taking their time to do the comics right, rather than shoehorn Marvelman into the Avengers. News about Moore and Gaiman reprints will be coming soon.

A new Invaders series by Alex Ross and Christos Gage was announced, wrapping up Alex Ross’s Invaders work of recent times.

Jeph Loeb announced a guest artist lineup for Rulk #23, which will reveal the origin of Rulk: Adam Kubert, Herb Trimpe, Sal Buscema for the first time on pencils and inks, Dale Keown, Tim Sale, Ian Churchill, Mike Deodato, Lenil Yu and John Romita, Jr.

Black Widow and the Irredeemable Ant-Man were announced as two more members of the Secret Avengers.
