Paul Levitz getting a new boss?
Diane Nelson rumoured to oversee DC comics.
Bleeding Cool reports that "senior sources" within DC have said that Paul Levitz will no longer report directly to Alan Horn, the President and COO of Warner Bros., but will instead report to Diane Nelson, President of Warner Premiere.
Nelson has overseen the management of the Harry Potter franchise since 2000, and represents Warner’s interests with JK Rowling. Prior to being named to her current position, Nelson served as Executive Vice President for
Global Brand Management, part of Warner Bros. Entertainment.Â
This is not likely to lead to any major changes within your weekly comics, although Nelson may be able to bring some clarity to DC’s current crop of movie properties, as well as the legal tangle surrounding Superman.
