Roy Disney, the nephew of Walt Disney who took control of the Disney company in the 1980’s, died today at age 79. Roy Disney was responsible for revitalizing the Disney animation division in the 80’s, leading to a string of hit films from the company, such as "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast," "Aladdin" and "The Lion King."
