Domino #1 – Gail Simone writes this bad as* new series for Marvel. Look for this comic to trend big within the social media outlets and the aftermarket on Ebay to pop a bit regarding the variant covers. Writer Gail Simone brings it every single time on any book she writes. Domino will be the answer to DC’s Harley, but an obviously vastly different character altogether. More in the vain of popularity. David Baldeon will take care of the art duties. It’s Domino’s time now…..
Haunted High-Ons  – This indie comic from Source Point Press is sold out on the distributor level. Writer Dirk Manning and artist Alessandro De Fornassari.
Champions #19 – A possible intro of a new hero.
Exiles #1 – The first Exiles series from 2001 went a 100 issue run. Not too shabby. The number one issue here will introduce readers to the new Valkyrie. Creators Saladin Ahmed and Javier Rodriguez.
Captain America #700 – Marvel introduces us to KING Captain America.

Despicable Deadpool #298 promises to carry a whole mess of villains in this action packed ‘go kill Deadpool, there’s a bounty on his head for $20 million’.
Champions #19 gives way to ‘the birth of a new hero’. This according to Marvel, so who knows what this may mean exactly.
If there was a spot here for the comic that’ll trend the most this week, Domino #1 would win that spot this week. Why? Well, three reasons. One, she’s a bad as* character. Two, she’s appearing in the new Deadpool movie. Three, she’s a bad as*. Well, maybe two reasons, but hey, get your own website if you want to list more reasons. Big collector dispute for a while as to where Domino first appeared. Was it New Mutants #98? X-Force #1? X-Force #4? X-Force #8? Marvel Age #102? Oh where oh where can art thou be? Well, the grading companies, not the hobbyist, settled the dispute and listed the ‘REAL’, yes, CGC actually lists ‘The REAL….’ On their upper right-hand notes, but that’s another chat some other time. So, the REAL first appearance of Domino is………(drum roll please!)…….X-Force #11 (1992). That long winded explanation was completely unnecessary, but fun nonetheless. Domino #1 brought to you by the writer Gail Simone and artist David Baldeon.
Marvel debuted the original Exiles #1 back in 2001. The series lasted seven years and 100 issues. That’s a nice run. Marvel will try their hand with a new run with Exiles #1 this Wednesday. This number one issue will introduce the new Valkyrie. Creators Saladin Ahmed and Javier Rodriguez.

It seems every week now one of Marvel’s original characters is hitting a milestone issue. Considering the fact many of them came out at the same time and the original numbering coming back, so yea, makes some sense. This week Marvel celebrates Captain America #700. That’s some serious numbering. And of course, many variants to choose from here, but it looks as though Marvel wants to ‘crown’ Captain America with a new name. ‘KING’ Captain America. No seriously, no joke. April fools is long gone.
Is Star Wars Thrawn #3 the intro of Arihnda Pryce in comics?

DC introduces a new team to their library this Wednesday. Immortal Men #1. An all star creative team will keep interest on this comic this week. Watch to see if the word gets out on this being an interesting team to follow via social media and chatter at your local comic shop. James Tynion IV writes and Jim Lee handles the pencils.

As all of the Creator Spotlights on InvestComics, each and every one of the creators have their own uniqueness. Rob Liefeld stormed into the industry back in 1987 and took the industry by the proverbial ears, starred into its eyes and said “I’m taking over.” So he he did.

He was one of the busiest creators in the industry at one time. The man was churning out comics at a ridiculous rate. That was good for the fans because they couldn’t seem to get enough.

Check out some of Rob Liefeld’s key books in his vast career thus far. Everything from Deadpool to Jada Pinkett Smith. Yes Jada….

New Mutants #87 (1990) The first appearance of Cable. Pencils by Liefeld, cover art with McFarlane. A classic cover that still gets paid respect in today’s cover art.

Marc Spector, Moon Knight #19 (1990) A solo Rob Liefeld Moon Knight cover with Spider-Man and the Punisher.

New Mutants #98 (1991) Well here it is. The Holy Grail. Only fours years into his professional career, Rob hits on a character that will forever change his career and the Marvel character landscape. The cover alone has been paid respect to so many times throughout the years. Rob Liefeld introduced the world to Deadpool and Marvel had a character for the ages. Not much can be said about this comic and character that hasn’t been said already, but Rob is officially a superstar now.

X-Force #1 (1991) This comic was ridiculously hot back in the early 90’s. Too many copies released prevented it from gaining any substantial aftermarket heat. Rob pencils/inks and cover art. Many collectors these days go after the bagged issue with the Deadpool trading card. Claiming it’s an early appearance of Deadpool. It’s a card. Seriously, it’s a card, not a comic appearance.
