The Chimera is Coming For You

Debut series from Spinwhiz Comics promises a suspenseful plot, knuckle-grinding action and mind-blowing artwork

SEPTEMBER 5, RALEIGH, NC — What drives a man to the edge of his existence? Hudson Ariss is drawing ever closer as an insane serial killer terrorizes his days and horrible dreams plague his nights. The difficulty of untangling reality from fantasy threatens to rip his mind apart, and his only hope is to catch the killer before the Chimera takes over. Witness how his quest begins in the first issue of Chimera, available Monday, September 9, 2013.

Written and published by Jeff Palumbo, Chimera brings together the awesome talents of illustrator Bong Dazo (Marvel’s “Deadpool,” Dark Horse’s “Knights of the Old Republic”) and colorist Marlon Ilagan (Dynamite Entertainment’s “Witchblade/Red Sonja” crossover, Dark Horse’s “Star Wars: The Clone Wars – The Enemy Within”). It is the first in a series of 20 issues.

“We are very excited to offer this first issue free online in order to gear up for our Kickstarter campaign, launching at the same time as our site on September 9th,” Jeff said. “This series is a dream come true and we hope to be able to continue publishing such a thrilling and thought-provoking comic.”
