With the recent announcement that Valiant of all properties will be adapted for TV and Movies through an expansive, connected universe here are the issues I recommend. I am not including many of the gold issues simply because they have continued to demand decent money even before the announcement. Be aware that many of the first issues from these series have gold variants some of which are flat gold while others are embossed.

Archer & Armstrong #0, Archer & Armstrong #8
Despite a huge print run this comic is the first appearance of one of the best series Valiant has ever offered. Get a CGC 9.8 and you will still make some decent money. Even the new series from Valiant is a great read and some of those issues ( including 0, first One Percent ) are worth a look.
Issue 8 is a flip book and features the first appearance of Ivar the Timewalker.

Magnus Robot Fighter #57 error
We already know of the pink, issue 12 ( first Turok ) and issue 1 hold value but there are others. Oh and make sure the coupons are in tact or the value is diminished.

Issue 5 is the first Rai, a Valiant original.
Issue 7 features a variation on the XO armor.
Issue 57 has an interior page error. The first interior page features an ad for Conjure Magazine which is out of order.

Issue 64 is rare due to a low print run. You will find that many of the last issues from Valiant properties are quite rare.

The Visitor VS. the Valiant Universe #1 & #2
These cover prices make these issues extremely hard to come by. Remember $2.95 is common and worth nothing. Other series like Turok also have $2.50 cover variants. Technically they are newsstand pricing issues and are scarce.
X-O Manowar #15 (pink)
Issue 1 features the first XO armor.
Issue 4 is the first Jack Boniface/Shadowman

Bloodshot 6 & Bloodshot #7 (first Ninjak and first in costume)
Bloodshot #30, Bloodshot #31, Bloodshot #32, Bloodshot #51 (2.50 cover price variants)
There aren’t many issues from the Bloodshot series that are worth a look but there is a Platinum error for issue 0 that might just be the rarest Valiant title out there!

Solar Man of the Atom #10 & #10b
Solar 3 features the first Harada, a major antagonist in the Valiant universe.
Issue 10 and 10 b are well known but still make the list as they feature the first appearance of the Eternal Warrior
Note: 10b is a second print and has a roman numeral 2 in black on the cover.

Even though issues 1-6 are all tough to find and coveted by collectors they are well known because of rarity and quality. Other than issue 41 (last issue) issue 10 is the only other comic from the series I can recommend. Even though H.A.R.D. Corps was a fair comic to say the least it would make an excellent movie in this writer’s opinion and it is going to be cheap no matter where you find it.

Rai #9 (Gold)
Rai is the first original character that Valiant created. Issues 1-5 are rare especially 4.
The only gold issue on my list is issue 9 of this series because it’s often forgotten as it marks a less than stellar new direction for the title
