Lazarus Planet Dark Fate #1 – As we have been saying for a couple of weeks now, all of DC’s Lazarus Planet comics are debuting new characters all over the place. Check out the debut of Xanthe. Is that her on the cover?
Star Wars Bounty Hunters #31 – The Inferno Squad and Iden Versio make their Star Wars comics debut. This comic will fly under the radar because Marvel Comics isn’t making that much of a big deal about it. They even ADDED wording on the cover “The Coming Inferno” after the initial release of the cover without that lettering on it. Star Wars collectors and comic speculators should be on top of this one.
Nightcrawlers #1 – There will not be a bigger first appearance comic this week than right here. Not in the sense of speculation but in the sense of how many characters will make their debut. Marvel informs the curious right off the bat, the debut of Wagnerine takes place within these pages. Look for this story to debut something new in each issue. It’s going to be a whacked-out good time here and we definitely do see a possible upside here in terms of speculation. Keep your eyes peeled for this one. Better yet, buy it. Written by Simon Spurrier and drawn by Paco Medina, it’s going to be a fantastic ride anyway, so you may as well get on board.
Marvel’s Voices Wakanda Forever #1 – The first appearance of the “last” Black Panther. The story is set in the future, but who’s to say the future BP isn’t a sudden fan favorite and makes its way into the present Marvel Universe?
