The Top 5 Comics arriving on Wednesday 3-23-22

Venom Lethal Protector #1 – Think of this new Venom story as “Year One”. It takes place well before all of the Carnage, Toxins, and Knull stuff. Back to basics here for a change. Marvel says droplets of the future will be found within the story as well. The best offering here is getting the co-creator of Venom back, David Michelinie to tell this story. This is definitely enough to make anyone check this out.
We Have Demons #1 – A new good vs evil/angel vs. devil story from an already established superstar comic creative team of Scott Snyder (writer) and Greg Capullo (artist). A Peach Momoko variant cover helps the eyeballs gravitate to an already soon-to-be hot comic. A Dark Horse Comics release.
Armorclads #1 – It’s been a little while since Valiant Comics has made their way into the Hot Picks article. Well, here they are now, introducing a new team and a new universe. The followers of InvestComics know how we feel about new universes being introduced. We’re always bullish.
Rogues #1 – We almost forgot DC’s Black Label existed for a hot minute. A fantastic label that allows comic creators to show Batman’s dong, among raw storytelling, twists on the said characters set ways with little to no filters. This week the focus will be on The Rogues (Captain Cold). Writer Joshua Williamson and artist Leomacs.
Harley Quinn #13 – A new story arc and the second year begins here as DC Comics promises new character introductions along the way. Pay attention as a new character within these pages can blow up very quickly. Will it all start here? Why yes, yes it will. The first FULL appearance of Verdict.
