Trending Comics, Best Cover Art, and Collectibles This Week……

Detective Comics #1027 – Many variants to choose from here as DC Comics celebrates Batman’s one-thousandth issue since his debut all of them years ago in Detective Comics #27. So many writers and artists are contributing here. Do not be surprised if a first appearance sneaks into these pages somewhere.
Batman #99 – Joker War part five. The issue before the new Batman suit debuts. Nightwing helps Batman with the great fight as Batman allows Dick Grayson to have a solo variant cover for his lending a hand.
Thor #7 – Besides the Venom series, the Thor series is the hottest Marvel comic at the moment. Lots and lots of pivotal storytelling from the planet’s hottest writer in some time, Donny Cates. Donny is on the Walt Simonson level of popularity when he was writing/drawing the Thor series starting with the classic #337 issue. Cates is also writing the Venom series, so this dude is on fire right now. The Thor series is on fire right now. Artist Aaron Kuder is doing his thing too. Thor is hot. Full stop.
Iron Man #1 – A relaunch featuring a new Iron Man armor. Writer Christopher Cantwell and artist Cafu get things rolling.

X-Men #12 – This comic leads into a huge X-Men story.
The Amazing Spider-Man Sins Of Norman Osborn #1 – The Order of the Web is born. Guest appearances from Spider-Woman, Madame Web, Spider-Girl, Ghost-Spider, and Miles Morales. What is there not to love here? Oh, add writer Nick Spencer and artist Federico Vincentini and we have a comic that Spider-Man fans will get their read on!
The Immortal Hulk #0 – Reprinting Incredible Hulk #312 and Incredible Hulk #-1. Issue #312 is the first appearance of Brian Banner, Bruce’s daddy. The zero issue here features a new story featuring more secrets about Brian Banner. Writer Al Ewing with artists Mike Mignola and Adam Kubert.
Giant Size X-Men Storm #1 – A special giant-size X-Men issue featuring Storm. From writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Russell Dauterman.
