Twilight Star to Play Max Steel – Plus Another Liefeld Connection?

Actor Taylor Lautner is in talks to star in Paramount’s live-action adaptation of the adventures of cartoon superhero Max Steel.

Taylor Lautner plays Jacob, the pedophile werewolf in the hit Twilight: Full Moon. Currently he is in talks with Paramount to play Max Steel, an extreme sports athlete with an alter ego as a superhero. The script for this movie is being written by J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani, who are also attached to write the Rob Liefeld superhero movies Youngblood and Capeshooters.
