Some Venom movie writing and casting news to top off the day. Will Topher Grace return?

We already know that writer Gary Ross was brought on to rewrite the script for Spider-Man four, but apparently Sony Pictures was so happy with his work that it’s rumored he is being contracted to write the Venom spinoff film. Variety gossip columnist Mike Fleming also reports that That Seventies Show star Topher Grace will not be returning to the Venom role for the spinoff, as the role will likely be recast.
