A copy of Detective Comics #27 sells for over a Million dollars!
First appearance of Batman breaks record. Take that Superman!
Just days after a copy of Action Comics #1 sold at a record-breaking $1 Million on auction, the first appearance of Batman has broken that record!
According to Robot 6 , the issue, Detective Comics #27, sold for £1,075,500 to an anonymous bidder. For freaks who care about that sort of thing, it’s CGCed at 8.0.
Pretty mental huh? A record broken twice in a week! Looks like Batman is still more popular than Superman.
