Bleeding Ink Productions Announces Patriot
What would you do if you were a super-hero with God-like powers and had only 6 weeks to live?
Bleeding Ink Productions launched a Kick Starter project on July 27, 2012 to produce a new mini-series called Patriot.
Patriot is a 4 issue mini-series that is unlike anything you’ve ever read. It tells the personal and emotional story of a super-hero that attempts to tie up all of his lose ends before a brain tumor takes his life. These include his obligations to protecting the world as well as those he has with his family.

In order to produce Patriot, Bleeding Ink Productions has set a goal of $4,000. The money will be used to pay for some the artist fees to produce over 60 pages and five (5) wrap-around covers. It still costs a lot to produce a comic of this quality, and the actual cost will be over $8,000. Since Bleeding Ink is a new publisher, the goal was set low as a realistic achievement. Bleeding Ink will cover the printing costs, coloring, and additional expenses. Hopefully, people will enjoy what they see and pledge so the project will reach its goal and beyond. In additional to the comic itself, many rewards are available based on the amount pledged. Rewards include special editions of The Patriot comic, Bleeding Ink apparel, more great books produced by Bleeding Ink and having yourself drawn as a character in an issue.

Founded by Jesse Grillo, Bleeding Ink Productions is a new publisher based out of Hollywood, California. The company creates unique, hard-line stories that stand out from anything you’ve ever read.
Jesse Grillo is a writer that has worked in film as a screenwriter, published a book of poetry, written over 20 comic books and is currently working on his first novel.
