New comics set to arrive on 5-22-24
New Mutants #98 brings back a facsimile edition with Deadpool looking sharp in Inhyuk Lee’s penciled mastery. It’s Deadpool being Deadpool, but make it artsy. For a game of superhero hide and seek, Nightwing #114 features a peek-a-boo cover from Dan Mora that’s both playful and sneakily menacing. Because who doesn’t love a side of hide-and-seek with their heroics? Amazing Spider-Man #50 is doubling down on dazzle with not one, but two covers. Greg Capullo brings his signature dynamic style that screams ‘classic Spidey’, while John Tyler Christopher opts for a minimalist approach that could probably pass as modern art in some upscale gallery. The Immortal Thor #11 by Arthur Adams features a very sexy warrior that could make even the staunchest villain consider switching sides. Adams’ art could hang in Asgard’s own hall of fame.

Superior Spider-Man #7 from Humberto Ramos boasts a cover that could be more aptly described as ‘How to be broody in superhero land 101’. The black cover promises mystery and, undoubtedly, some top-notch wall-crawling shenanigans. John Constantine Hellblazer: Dead in America #4 shows our favorite anti-hero, John Constantine, nonchalantly riding atop a bus. Cover artist Aaron Campbell seems to capture John’s ‘I’m too cool to care, but I secretly do’ vibe perfectly. The Catwoman #65 cover by Pablo Villalobos, is so sultry it might just fog up your comic book bag. Keep it away from your steamy romance novels, folks. Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #27 sees Jeff Dekal and Ramon Perez battling it out in a cover showdown. Dekal delivers a punch with his vibrant, action-packed portrayal, whereas Perez brings a moody, atmospheric vibe that might just make you want to whisper dramatic monologues in the rain. Black Widow and Hawkeye #3, where our favorite sharpshooters are depicted back-to-back by Stephen Segovia, in a pose that screams ‘we forgot to talk about our feelings, so we fight crime instead.’ Classic duo antics.
