Green Hornet Switched to 3D, Moves to January

The release of the Seth Rogen Green Hornet Film has been pushed back to January as the movie has been changed to 3D.

Sony pictures denies that the move has anything to do with bad buzz about the film, which was originally filmed in 2D, but, like it seems every movie today, is being converted to 3D to take advantage of the Avatar trend. The studio attributes the move, from a prime holiday spot on December 22 to Martin Luther King Day Weekend on January 14, to a need to find a release frame where there are enough available digital screens to show the 3D movie, as the holiday slot is already packed with Tron: Legacy, Yogi Bear, and others.
