Green Lantern director Martin Campbell have finally found the female lead for their movie, and the lady love Carol Ferris will be played by none other than Blake Lively.

Director Martin Campbell have finally found the female lead for their Green Lantern movie, and lady love Carol Ferris will be played by none other than Blake Lively, star of the CW’s hit "Gossip Girl," The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and its sequel.

Rumors had been swirling for the past month about a possible lead with Keri Russell and Jennifer Garner among those being talked to for the role. The movie is scheduled to start shooting in March.
