Thor #28 – We were under the impression that the previous issue was bringing Thor and Venom together to team up. We were wrong. It’s Thor vs Venom part two this Wednesday. Fans are loving this.
Dark Crisis Young Justice #5 – Mickey Mxyzptlk made his first appearance (cameo) a couple of issues ago in Dark Crisis Young Justice #2. His first (full) appearance occurred in Dark Crisis Young Justice #4. Now his story begins to take off from here this Wednesday.
Batman One Bad Day: Penguin #1 – First appearance alert; Umbrella Man. These one-shot (One Bad Day) stories from DC are on point. Writer John Ridley and artist Giuseppe Camuncoli.
Aliens #2 and Predator #3 – Regular visitors to the site can basically skip this banter because it’s just a repeat course of the Disney “reset” of the Aliens and Predator franchises. OR, you can be reminded about it again. Any new comic release regarding either one of these two huge franchises is a possible new entry into Disney’s movie story. There are countless new characters and more origins being put forth in every book. When Disney decides to finally make some serious coin on the big screen (or the smaller one- DisneyPlus), they may borrow from any of these stories. Who’s to say a fan favorite new “Ripley” isn’t born originally from the comics? A new Alien or Predator-like monster? The potential here is off the charts. What are you waiting for? You better get on board now.

Deadly Neighborhood Spider-Man #1 – DC Comics has their “dark” Batman Universe, so what took Marvel so long here? They’ll venture out and begin the Spider-Man Dark Universe here. Probably won’t be as dark as DC’s take, but this will be fun to watch as the new Spidey universe unfolds.
Midnight Suns #2 – The premiere issue carried a variant game cover displaying a first appearance Midnight Suns costume with Spider-Man. Is this game variant the first as well for Wolverine and Scarlet Witch?
